Overview
Minimalist Municipals is an editorial site covering design topics. We do not sell products, run ads, operate an affiliate program, or collect analytics data from visitors. Accounts are limited to site administrators; visitor registration is closed.
This policy explains what reaches our servers when you read, leave a comment, or contact us by email, why we keep it, who helps us operate the site, and the choices you have.
What reaches us when you visit
Like most websites, our hosting environment and content delivery network (CDN) generate standard server logs. When your browser requests a page or image, the servers receive your IP address, user agent (browser and device information), the time of the request, the requested URL, and the referrer if provided by your browser. These logs are used to deliver content, secure the service, and diagnose performance issues.
WordPress, which powers this site, may set essential cookies to keep administrative users logged in. These cookies are not set for casual readers unless you interact with features that use them, such as leaving a comment.
Comments
Comments are open on our articles. If you leave a comment, WordPress collects the data you enter in the comment form and also records your IP address and browser user agent to help with moderation and abuse control. If you choose the “save my information” option, WordPress stores your name, email address, and website in a cookie on your device so they prefill next time.
Comments, their metadata, and associated moderation records are kept so the conversation remains intact and to help us identify spam or abuse. We may use automated filters and manual review to moderate comments before or after publication.

Who can see your data
Within Minimalist Municipals, only the site administrator(s) can access personal data stored through WordPress or received by email.
Our hosting provider and CDN process traffic and log data so that content can be delivered quickly and securely. They act as our service providers and may temporarily process IP addresses and related technical information as part of operating the network. We do not sell or rent personal data and we do not share it with advertisers or analytics vendors.
International transfers
Because we use a CDN, your requests may be routed through servers in different countries so that content can be delivered efficiently. This involves the transient processing of your IP address and related technical data in those locations.
Your choices and rights
• You can post a comment without saving your details, or you can clear commenter cookies at any time through your browser settings.
• You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, object to certain processing, or ask us to delete it where applicable.
• If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection or supervisory authority.
Children’s privacy
Our content is aimed at a general audience interested in design. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data on our site, please contact us and we will address it.
